Jyoti Bal Ashram Foundation (REGD.)

Jyoti Bal Ashram Foundation is a Non Profit Organization working for the betterment of the community. Incepted in June 2024, the foundation has laid immense emphasis on serving the society at large and impacting as many lives as possible. It has always aimed at holistic development of the community people exerting importance to all demographics equally. The foundation is running numerous projects placing special focus on Education, Health, Skill and wellbeing. JBAF is trying to place focus on the lower section of the society who are unable to access basic level of resources for existence.

As of Nov 2016, India is the second-most unequal country in the world. The richest 10% of the Indians own 80.7% of the wealth. Rising inequality is a threat to the economic development of the nation which needs to be addressed immediately. Our government is taking up a lot of initiatives to bridge the gap. To make the process quicker and help the nation achieve the goal a tad bit faster, JBAF is trying to contribute its share in the development of the nation.

Jyoti Bal Ashram Foundation is executing the development activities in the urban slums, resettlement colonies and rural to reach out maximum number of community people who are socially, economically, politically and culturally disadvantaged. It aims to increase its impact and create maximum influence in the coming future.

Commitment to Education & Care

The Bal Ashram helps to create a society free from child labor, where all children receive free, compulsory, quality, and meaningful education. Orphans and destitute children are provided free schooling, boarding, free bedding and clothing, recreational material, and medicines.

To support children’s education belonging to exceedingly poor communities and due to continuous migration children are forced into child labor, child marriage and other exploitative practices. The Bal Ashram Trust family is determined to build child-friendly schools with stimulating environments especially for girls for them to reach out to their full potential. The activities and lessons planned for the first-generation school learners envision providing a hands-on learning experience to children and supporting their families through community-based interventions and participative reform.
